Bruges, Belgium

This quaint city  is full of canals, romantic bridges, medieval buildings, historic churches, and cobblestone streets, that make such a charming destination for your honeymoon.  Described as a “fairy-tale medieval town,” Bruges boasts exquisite Gothic buildings, such as The Church of Our Lady, and art treasures such as Michelangelo’s sculpture Virgin and Child. Like Venice, Bruges is a city of canals, linking it to the North Sea. The most romantic canal, the Green Canal, makes a perfect afternoon activity. Pack a picnic of Belgium chocolates and waffles and wine. The luxurious Hotel Heritage Bruges in the heart of town makes an ideal place to stay.

Torremolinos, Spain

Spain’s Mediterranean resort, Torremolinos boasts clean sandy beaches, fun nightlife, fresh sea food, and isn’t too expensive. For an adventure, take a day driving through the charming fishing villages and end your day with some refreshing sangria and fresh paella at a beachside restaurant. The Meliá Costa del Sol hotel offers picturesque sea views on the beach.

Algarve, Portugal

Stunning hotels, incredible views, upscale restaurants and bars, and fascinating architecture. If that sounds appealing, consider The Algarve, Portugal’s southernmost region, with its Mediterranean beaches, mountains, and ancient ruins, in the town of Silves. There’s so much to do here, from sailing, hiking, scuba diving, tennis, golf, biking – or just relaxing on a sunny, sandy beach or sipping cocktails.
