Kloof Street House
If you’re looking for world-class cuisine with an eclectic atmosphere, this is the place for you. This restaurant’s decor is nothing short of fabulous. The hotspot is on one of the city’s most vibrant streets. It has an outside section for evening cocktails and a lush interior that will make you feel as if you’re in a someone’s living room rather than in a restaurant. We recommend the Moroccan lamb!
Cafe Paradiso
This is one of the city’s ultimate lunch venues. The restaurant has a courtyard that offers you a spectacular view of table mountain. The menu is brimming with scrumptious dishes from steak to fresh salads to delectable tapas. Order yourself a margarita, take in the view and enjoy.
The Potluck Club
This restaurant is the brainchild of one of Cape Town’s most notable resident chefs, Luke Dale Roberts. The restaurant offers fine-dining in an easy yet opulent space. The menu is divided into sections each focussed on offering the diner a particular flavor, from sweet to bitter to umami. The food is superb, the vibe is warm and the bar is stocked. Be sure to make a reservation!
La Columbe
La Columbe is one of the Cape’s best known fine dining establishments. It has made it onto many a list of some of the world’s best foodie hotspots. The menu is all about blending a mix of influences from world cuisine, most notably Asian and French.
