The main street in Woodstock looks like the classic old fashioned main streets of old. With their historical buildings and colorful storefronts, these charming ‘Mom and Pop’ stores are well prepared for Christmas shoppers.
Town Wagon Tours
The town offers quaint horse-drawn wagon tours that allow you to travel the entire town and enjoy the sites.

Here you can see this winter wonderland and all the decorations all from your wagon. With its beautiful mountainous surrounds and historical buildings and covered bridges, you will have a lot of great sites to see.
Christmastime Wassail Festival
Wassail was a medieval Christmas drink but in modern-day Woodstock its a festive parade and feast. During Christmas, the high school performers of the town put on a medieval Christmas pageant to kick off the weekend-long wassail weekend. This is later followed by a wassail parade, breakfast with Santa, snowman building contests and even a sleighbells concert. It all wraps up with a giant feast.

As part of the wassail festival, the town puts on a special Christmas parade where the towns fold don their best Christmas looks and march down the main street.
