Being a parent is no easy job but when it comes to dads they seem to have their own rulebook that they use for parenting. Dads have a special sense of humor when it comes to their children and babies in particular offer some amazing photo ops for the dads who like to play a few pranks on their kids. These dads saw some golden opportunities when it came to their children and did not hesitate to grab them for certain challenges to making them appear like little old men. A Ready Made Shopping Cart

A stroller has many functions according to this dad. You can place your child in it and still fill it up with all of the groceries you need. His kid doesn’t even seem to mind that he has some chicken placed on his head or maybe he is asleep and this is a new kind of chicken challenge.

This dad is really just working with all the tools he has. What makes it even funnier is that clearly, a passerby snapped this photo to show off his parenting skills.

A Zip Tie Hairdo

Finding a hair elastic can be tricky, especially for dads who might not know where their wives keep them. This hand dad knew that he had something that would hold his daughter’s hair back before she hit the field for a game of soccer.

He pulled out his tool box, grabbed a zip tie and simply zipped her hair back. At the very least he should have clipped the long tail off though. We hope she didn’t catch a team member in the eye with that.

Like Son, Like Father

This little guy decided he wanted to don a red dress for the day, it was hot and he liked how cool he felt in the dress. His father did not want him to feel like he stood out so he simply decided to wear a red skirt.

He did not want his son to feel like his fashion decisions were strange because they might not fit what society dictates to be ‘normal.’ This is true fatherly love right there and we couldn’t be happier to see this picture.

Yum, Ketchup

Babies aren’t really supposed to start eating regular foods until they are six months old and that includes ketchup. This dad was enjoying his burger when a big dollop of the condiment landed on his baby’s cheek.

Not to be put off this dad quickly licked it off and his baby was none the wiser to what had just gone on. That was some quick thinking on dad’s part! We bet once he gets a bit older this baby will begin imitating his dad.

Encouraging your children to eat their lunch

When their kids are fussy eaters, parents have to go out of their way to help their children realize they still need to eat their meals. This dad, however, pulled out the big guns when his daughter refused to eat plain cheese sandwiches.

Instead of gently reasoning with her, he gave her this note and from that day on she always ate her lunch no matter what. A few days later though her mom found the note in her backpack and this dad ended up in the dog box.

Don’t Tell Mom

This dad did not feel like going out and picking up his daughter which was reflected via their text conversation. He kept saying ‘omg’ like the teenager we are going to assume that his daughter is.

However, when she threatened to tell his wife that he was not being as nice as he could and coming to pick her up she finally got the response she wanted. Nobody wants to deal with mom’s wrath that’s for sure.

Dressed to Impress

While most dads can be inventive when it comes to raising babies and small children, they have some savagely good ideas about punishing badly behaved teens. When this 14-year-old decided to skip school and spent the day at the mall her dad had the perfect way to make sure she never did it again.

He raided his wife’s closet and the next morning he wore this pretty ensemble for his teenage daughter and walked her straight to class. This teenager certainly won’t make the same mistake anytime soon.

Cooling Down

As this father did some yard work with his leaf blower, his daughter came up to him and started questioning what he was doing. He decided to show her something funny. His other daughter is killing herself with laughter as she smiles and watches her little sister.

The sister in question has had the leaf blower turned on her and her clothes, hair, and mouth are all being blasted with some intense air. Let’s hope it was what she asked for and not a surprise.

Dance Dad

Ballet is a graceful dance that many little girls and boys decide to learn. This little one seems like she wants to be a ballerina judging by the pink tutu and leotard she is wearing. Her dad is trying to embrace her newfound passion and be a dance dad.

He’s even purchased and is wearing a ballet ensemble himself which we must say is even nicer than his daughter’s. We’re sure this dad showed off some pretty sweet moves at the studio.

Moral Support

This dad is one funny guy because after his teenage daughter hit a deer he sent her this hilarious message to help support her in her time of need.

While some may find his message a little harsh, he did manage to get his daughter laughing just enough that she forgot about how nervous she was for the exam. She was then able to calmly take the test and ended up doing really well.

Baby Kiwi

For this dad, he found himself about to slice up a kiwi as a snack when he realized that it bore a striking resemblance to something. He could not put his finger on it at first but then he realized what it was, his baby!

The little brown kiwi resembles his child’s head almost exactly, right down to the fine baby hair fuzz. We’re sure the mom who got this picture could not stop herself from chuckling over the resemblance.

Eyebrows And A Mustache

Baby photos are a big component of some Reddit groups, lots of parents like to pose the funny pictures they have managed to take care of their child. For this user, her husband had decided that the baby needed a bit more expression. His solution was to add on some eyebrows and an uneven mustache to give his baby a slightly sinister look.

We bet that this baby had a variety of expressions pasted on her face which her mom got to experience in all their glory as she grew up. This dad clearly has a flair for the artistic side of things.

Live Fast

When you live in the country sometimes you have to make your own fun. For this pair of kids, their dad had developed the best ‘ride’ possible. All he needed was his ATV and a mattress attached. If these kids are fans of Aladdin then they are in for a real treat as their father drags them around for a country version of a magic carpet ride.

The only thing we think that is missing are possibly some helmets to keep these little tots safe should they fall off. Hopefully, their mom wasn’t too scared when she saw what daddy had been up to while she was out.

We can only imagine how incredibly embarrassed this teenage boy was after his dad used his laptop, but at least his dad left him a note about it. It would have been far more awkward between the two if his dad had used his laptop and not said anything about it.

And this way at least his son knows how he can keep things a little more private. We guess if this dad feels traumatized by what he saw it serves him right for looking at his son’s browsing history.

When this mother got home from the store she was surprised to see her toddler in his playpen next to the telephone. Luckily she didn’t have to wonder why for long because her loving husband left her a detailed post-it explaining the situation.

It seems this dad discovered the key to getting rid of those pesky telemarketers and instead of taking the call he handed it over to the man in charge. After a call like that, we bet this particular telemarketer won’t be calling back anytime soon.

The Best Of Both Worlds

New parents know just how hard it can be to get a baby to sleep and once it is asleep you want it to stay asleep for as long as possible. However, this dad was faced with a major dilemma he wanted his cake and his baby to sleep.

This is where the baby table comes in. It seems like this little guy was so asleep that he did not even notice that his father was using him as a cake table. Apparently, this little girl only knew how to sleep like this on her dad which mean that he had to adapt and so did she.

When it comes to keeping your child entertained and yourself you sometimes need to think out of the box. For this dad, he knew his daughter wanted to swing which meant he would need to push her or devise a way that he could sit while she swung.

All it took was a piece of rope and he could sit while he pulled his daughter back and forth on the swing. To top it off, he was also able to drink his favorite beverage all while watching his kid and having a bit of time to himself. This one should go into the dad manual.

The moment their teenage daughter begins to date it is every loving dad’s nightmare. Luckily this hilarious dad seems to have found the perfect solution to the dating woes.

Instead of worrying about what his daughter will be doing, he insisted that she wear this t-shirt to school, that way all the boys in her school will know what dating her will mean. I hope this dad had duplicates made because it is possible this one might get lost in the wash as soon as his back is turned.

Putting the baby to sleep has never been easier with this simple trick that this dad uses. Instead of reading his baby the traditional nursery rhymes we all heard growing up, he gently sings his kids asleep to the theme song from Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

We can only imagine this dad rapping away as his tiny tot drifts off to sleep. While this trick was probably used by Will Smith himself, we are sure that no mom would dare try such a tactic. But hey, apparently it works.

Baby clothes can be a bit confusing and for this dad it seems like he did not know one of the most important things about overalls. While it might look cute to just slip them on there is one other piece of clothing that is required to complete the look.

Having a parent work from home can be great for kids, especially when their parents are as funny as this dad. These lucky kids always get a grand welcome when they return triumphant from school. Every day when these boys get off the bus from school their dad is always there waiting for them to see how their day was.

Three years ago, the Cheerios Challenge appears to sweep across social media with parents trying to see just how many cheerios they could balance on their child before it woke up. It is a very technical challenge as you can see and for this dad he felt like he might be a true winner.

That is an impressive stack of cheerios. We just hope when his child finally woke up he got to eat some of them after the tower came crashing down.

Parenting is all about multitasking and for this dad he knew if he wanted to continue gaming he would have to learn how to care for his child at the same time. Lucky for him, his baby enjoys drinking from its bottle while daddy is engrossed in Fortnite or whatever other game has his attention.

We bet when this baby grows up it will be playing games with it’s dad as soon as it is old enough to learn. Dad is just getting him started while he is young.

Carrying kids can be difficult as some kids like it, some start squirming, and others even start to cry. While at the local hardware store this dad realized that his child would need to be carried but not by him. After looking around at the various tools his eyes fell on a toilet plunger.

He looked at his son and he knew that this was the tool he needed, and the suction grip worked amazingly well on his son’s back. Hopefully, his dad didn’t carry him too far like this or it might have hurt a bit.

Starting Young

This dad who was on grocery duty and decided it was time for his toddler to learn how to push the cart and him. She had been pushed around many times by her dad and he figured she was now ready to push him and all of the contents of their grocery cart.

As you can see, she is pushing as hard as her tiny little self can and it looks like they might be moving at a snail’s pace. She just needs to grow up a tiny bit more.

It seems like to be a parent you need a third or fourth hand if you want to do everything you need to. This dad is an innovator like most of the dads on this list and knew what he needed to drink his beer. All it would take was a crazy straw to enjoy his beverage of choice while feeding his little one.

In this household, the mom may fill the role of the bad guy but the dad is definitely the best buddy. This dad is so cool he can really hang with his kids and when his son went off to college he proved he was just like one of the guys.

When his son texted him one night to test his dad’s texting skills he was able to impress and prove once and for all that he is the best dad ever. We wonder if he actually knew that or if he just googled it? Either way, this dad is super cool

A Helping Hand

When this kid grows up he will probably wonder why hiking has become so much more difficult than it was when he was a child. That is probably because his dad got inventive and instead of dragging his toddler up the side of this rock formation, he simply picked him up like a bag of groceries.

This way his son was easy enough to carry and the little guy got a great view of the canyon as he floated up with the rest of the hiking party. Thankfully mom is walking ahead of everyone because we aren’t sure what she would say about all of this.

Oops

Going to a jamboree or indoor playpen with dad can be the highlight of the week for any child but sometimes things don’t always go according to plan. For this little girl, she was all set to have her Tarzan swing with her dad over a foam pit but she may not have been holding on to his head as tightly as she should have.

As her dad swung, off she fell, headfirst into the foam pit which was captured on camera. This is by far one of the funniest dad pictures so far.
