Villains. We despise them for repeatedly menacing our heroes and putting the world/galaxy/universe in mortal danger. It has been said that movie heroes are only as good as their antagonists, and it is difficult to picture James Bond without Ernst Stavro Blofeld. A movie villain can take various shapes, whether it’s in a galaxy far, far away or right down the street. But what unites them all is that, when done well, they may leave a lasting impression on an audience.
